lin_sed

Linear parameter for calculating the maximum amount of sediment that can be re-entrained during channel sediment routing

The maximum amount of sediment that can be transported from a channel is calculated as

$conc_{sed,ch,mx}=c_{sp}*v_{ch,pk}^{spexp}$

where $conc_{sed,ch,mx}$ is the maximum concentration of sediment that can be transported by the water (tons/m3 or kg/L), $c_{sp}$ is a coefficient defined by the user (lin_sed), $v_{ch,pk}$ is the peak channel velocity (m/s), and $spexp$ (exp_sed) is an exponent defined by the user.
