Evaporation

The volume of water lost to evaporation on a given day is calculated:

Vevap=10∗η∗Eo∗SAV_{evap}=10*\eta*E_o*SAVevap=10∗η∗Eo∗SA 8:1.1.6

where VevapV_{evap}Vevap is the volume of water removed from the water body by evaporation during the day (m3^33 H2_22O), η\etaη is an evaporation coefficient (0.6), EoE_oEo is the potential evapotranspiration for a given day (mm H2_22O), and SASASA is the surface area of the water body (ha).
